Starting lineup for NASCAR Cup Series race at Auto Club Speedway 2023

     Due to inclement weather in Fontana, California, NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series qualifying has been canceled for Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023. Instead the NASCAR sanctioning body has defaulted to their qualifying metric to determine the starting lineup for the Cup Series’ final race at Auto Club Speedway’s two-mile layout.


This scenario will result in Christopher Bell and the No. 20 Camry starting from the pole position in the “Pala Casino” 400 at Auto Club Speedway. Alongside the No. 20 will start “Daytona” 500 Champion Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. in the No. 47 Camaro ZL1.


Although NASCAR Cup Series race activities are still scheduled for Sunday afternoon, at Auto Club Speedway, current forecasts for the next several days in Fontana California unanimously call for rain.


The following is the complete starting lineup for the 2023 “Pala Casino” 400 at Auto Club Speedway:
