NASCAR Cup Series rookie driver Todd Gilliland took home some "hardware" on Saturday evening, after scoring a NASCAR Truck Series victory at Knoxville Raceway on June 18th. He guided the No. 17 Ford F-150, owned by his father David Gilliland, to victory lane for the organizations 3rd series win.

After multiple Qualifying Heat Races, Derek Kraus managed to win his first ever NASCAR Truck Series pole. The fastest truck in practice, Carson Hocevar, unfortunately had his engine expire shortly the conclusion of Stage 1. Luckly for Hocevar, he had won the Stage 1 points, and the bonus playoff point for later, giving him a slight saving-grace from his 35th-place finish. Todd Gilliland won the second Stage.

Brett Moffitt, who was replacing Austin Wayne Self for this weekend's race, got black-flagged by NASCAR for jumping the restart later in the event, causing some extra chaos for the race.

About a third of the 150-lap event was raced under yellow flag conditions, with 9 cautions for a total number of 45-laps.

Here are the complete race results from Knoxville Raceway:
