It looks like amigo Daniel Suárez has finally found his place in the NASCAR Cup Series with Trackhouse Racing, with whom he won with just recently at Sonoma Raceway. The driver of the No. 99 Chevrolet Camaro, according to Trackhouse Racing Team President Ty Norris, said that Suárez "is not going anywhere".

Before his win, the Mexican-born driver had acknowledged that his contract status was not set in stone.

“This is my home. I’m not going anywhere,” Suárez said. “So, I’m not too worried about it, but contract today, tomorrow, next month, in a couple months, I feel like we’re in a very, very good place, probably the best place I’ve ever been with a team, so I’m 100% sure things are going to work out.”

Ty Norris also stated that it is likely a "100% chance that Daniel Suárez is re-signed" with them before the end of the 2022 season is over.

Currently, Trackhouse Racing has both of their full-time NASCAR Cup Series entries in the playoffs: The win at Sonoma Raceway securing Daniel Suárez's spot, and two wins for teammate Ross Chastain.
