As it was previously hinted by Jesse Little on Twitter, the 24 year old driver will be taking a rain check on his career in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and taking a jab at the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. We now know the location of his landing spot.
Jesse Little, who is the son of NASCAR driver Chad Little, is expected to start at least 12 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races in 2022, though it sounds like more may be in negotiation. It seem's likely that Little will pilot the No. 12 ride, which Tate Fogleman won with during his part-time season with the team in 2021, though that is unclear at the moment.
Little explained his new opportunities in the sport by saying "I honestly feel that we are going to really turn some heads next year and show everyone the capabilities of Young's Motorsports.” and further explained "Tyler has built an incredible infrastructure with really great people and I'm very much looking forward to working with every one of them.”
Jesse Little’s start in the 2022 season opener at Daytona International Speedway, will mark the driver’s 35th start in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Little’s return to the Truck Series comes after two season’s of competition in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, with a full-time effort at JD Motorsports in 2020, and a part-time effort (23 races) with BJ McLeod Motorsports in 2022. Little’s best finish in the Xfinity Series came at Daytona International Speedway (Summer) and Pocono Raceway in 2020 where he scored 10th place finishes at both tracks.
The number that Little will race under, sponsorship, and personnel for the race team will all be announced at a later date. Follow Stock Car Media for all kinds of NASCAR news, including updates on Jesse Little!
