Blaine Perkins to pilot No. 9 Chevrolet in Truck Series for CR7 Motorsports

CR7 Motorsports VIA Twitter
It was announced Thursday morning (12/23/21) that Blaine Perkins is set to pursue his first full-time ride in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, as the calender flips to 2022. Perskins will pilot the No. 9 Chevrolet Silverado for CR7 Motorsports.

Blaine Perkins, who had some decent runs with Our Motorsports in 2021, originally worked his way up the the K&N Pro Series and the ARCA Menard's Series, where he would run the entire 2020 ARCA Menard's Series West schedule, winning three races and ranking second in points.

Perskins drove a part-time schedule with Our Motorsports in 2021, where he competed in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Blaine Perkins took a stage victory in October at Talladega and even finished a surprising 13th in that event, marking his highest finish to date in any of NASCAR's National Series.

Not many details on sponsorship were unveiled for the team, but Grant County Mulch appears to be returning for an unknown number of races. More information will be announced at a later date, which Stock Car Media will report upon alongside other NASCAR news.
