Stenhouse, Jr. to bring new Hungry Jack paint scheme to Indianapolis

JTG Daugherty Racing

It was announced earlier this week in the entry list for the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series event at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course that Ricky Stenhouse Jr. (driver of the No. 47 Chevrolet) would be bringing a Hungry Jack paint scheme to this Sunday’s race. Today we got a glimpse of what is a similar but new paint scheme for the JTG Daugherty team (see above).

Hungry Jack, one of America’s largest breakfast brands specializes in pancake mix and pancake syrup. The popular name came about in 1967 with this innovation of “Hungry Jack Mashed Potatos” and later on the brand’s famous microwaveable syrup bottle. While Hungry Jack is simply a store bought solution for a hearty breakfast, their new paint scheme for the No. 47 car packs a much bigger punch! The side of Stenhouse Jr.‘s Camaro is adorned by a hefty stack of Hungry Jack Pancakes and a trail of runaway pancake syrup, both of which stand out very well on the mostly black race car.

You can catch this paint scheme hit the track this Sunday, August 15th 2021 as the NASCAR Cup Series heads to the IMS Road Course for the “Verizon 200 at the Brickyard”. Race coverage will begin at 1:00 PM ET and will be aired live on NBC, as well as broadcasted live on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Radio Network. Check your local listings for further information.
