As the Camping World SRX Series made its series debut race, at Stafford Motor Speedway, the No. 10 of Doug Coby dominated. Local NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Champion, Doug Coby, won the race’s 2nd heat, as well as the main feature.

This race was a historic event for the sport of stock car racing, as it featured some of the sports most prestigious drivers such as Michael Waltrip, Bill Elliott, and Tony Stewart, along with open wheel drivers like Marco Andretti, Helio Castroneves, and Paul Tracy. These well talented drivers came together to hash it out in two 15-minute heat races, as well as a 100 lap main feature. Ultimately, the big names did not win, it was local legend, and Stafford Motor Speedway extraordinaire Doug Colby who held off Greg Biffle to become the SRX Series’ first winner. Greg Biffle while unable to win heat 2 or the main event, was able to win the first event.

Next week the Camping World SRX Series heads to Knoxville Raceway a dirt track in Iowa to see which racing superstar becomes the next winner of the SRX Series. Tune into CBS next Saturday, at 8:00 PM ET to catch the action!
