Jordan Anderson Racing |
As Jordan Anderson Racing makes its NASCAR Xfinity Series debut during NASCAR’s inaugural race at Circuit of the Americas (in Austin Texas), Cup Series regular Tyler Reddick has been tapped to get behind the wheel of the No. 31 Camaro.
If you had asked Jordan Anderson in early February where his team would be making its Xfinity Series debut, he certainly would not have told you COTA, on May 22nd; but now that’s the reality. Jordan Anderson Racing had expectations to make their NASCAR Xfinity Series debut at the Daytona 2021 season opening race, but when qualifying was rained out, new teams like Anderson’s were left without opportunity to make any starts until they could either buy owner’s points, or qualify again. Jordan Anderson Racing was unable to buy owner’s points and was left to qualify again, the only was their next opportunity was roughly four months later at Circuit of the Americas in May.
Now with any luck Jordan Anderson racing will be able to put their cars to use, and qualify decent with the help of Tyler Reddick. While Tyler Reddick is not necessarily known for his road racing talent, he is a well experienced driver, and often has an advantage over other drivers in the Xfinity Series.
Be sure to catch Tyler Reddick drive the No. 31 during the “Pit Boss” 250 on May 22nd, at Circuit of the Americas. Race coverage will begin at 4:00 PM ET and will be aired live on FOX Sports 1.
