Stewart-Haas Racing announced Tuesday (5/4/21) that Chase Briscoe and HighPoint have partnered to bring a AJ Foyt throwback paint scheme to Darlington Raceway this upcoming Sunday.
While Foyt drove in many racing series’, and divisions, the cause of this throwback is likely due to Foyt’s 128 starts in the NASCAR Cup Series over the span of 30+ years, and his total of 7 victories.
You can catch this paint scheme hit the track this Sunday, May 9th during the “Goodyear” 400 at Darlington Raceway. Race coverage will begin at 3:30 PM ET, and will be aired live on FOX Sports 1.
