It was announced Thursday evening (4/29/21) that Ryan Blaney will bring the above black, white, and red, throwback paint scheme to the “Goodyear” 400 throwback race, at Darlington Raceway on May 9th.
This paint scheme is meant to closely resemble the paint scheme that Ryan Blaney ran on his 2010-11 super late model (see below).

Blaney started driving super late model cars at the age of 14, and by age 15 was competing as a regular in the Pro All Star Series (PASS), and won rookie of the year honors. Of course these days he is best known for his multiple wins in the NASCAR Cup Series, but this paint scheme undoubtedly has significance in terms of Ryan Blaney’s career.
You can catch this paint scheme hit the track on Sunday, May 9th, during the “Goodyear” 400 at Darlington Raceway. The race will begin at 3:30 PM ET, and will be aired live on FOX Sports 1.
