Kevin Harvick wins the 2022 Cup Series "Firekeeper's Casino" 400 at Michigan

    Breaking a 65-race winless streak, which dated back to the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series season, veteran driver Kevin Harvick shook up the field with a dominating victory at Michigan International Speedway on Sunday, August 7th.


Harvick beat Toyota driver Bubba Wallace for the race win on the final restart, even stretching the battle to a whopping 4-seconds by the finish.


The playoff field is tightening up, as Harvick is the 15th different winner of the regular season. That leaves just one spot for a driver to get in on points in the next 3 weeks, of course if we don't get one or two more winners. Ryan Blaney, who is second in the regular season points, is currently the highest driver without a victory.
