Bubba Wallace made one heck of a fast lap at Michigan International Speedway to score his first ever Busch Light Pole Award. He will lead the NASCAR Cup Series field to the green flag to start the 2022 "FireKeepers Casino" 400 on Sunday, August 7th.
The No. 23 Toyota Camry was the only car in the NASCAR Cup Series field to surpass 190 MPH during the qualifying session. Christopher Bell, Kyle Busch helped Toyota make a 1-2-3 sweep of the top-3 starting spots, while Ford drivers Joey Logano and Austin Cindric round out the top-5.
On another note, Josh Bilicki and BJ McLeod ran the exact same time across the line, the clock time reading 39.308 seconds (183.169 MPH).
