Kyle Larson takes 3rd Cup win in-a-row at Nashville

    The "Ally" 400 at Nashville Superspeedway was yet another race dominated by Kyle Larson. There was a total of 7 different leaders throughout this race, the first lap being led by pole-sitter Aric Almirola:

• Kyle Larson - 264 laps led
• Chase Elliott - 13 laps led
• Kyle Busch - 10 laps led
• Chase Briscoe - 5 laps led
• Ross Chastain - 4 laps led
• Kurt Busch - 3 laps led
• Aric Almirola - 1 lap led

Right off the start though, was some trouble as Ryan Blaney had to pit before the green flag even was put out. Then Quin Houff missed turn 2 and clobbered the wall on Lap 1, losing a tire in the process. Many other drivers succumbed to brake failure, to the extent you would see at Martinsville Raceway or a road course.

In this race, Chase Elliott won stage 1 and Kyle Larson won stage 2. Due to Chase Elliott’s disqualification in post race inspection, Kurt Busch will assume the stage winning position, and earn the stage points.
