Richard Childress Racing has announced today (08/02/2022) that Austin Hill will be making his NASCAR Cup Series debut in a third entry for the organization this coming weekend at Michigan International Raceway. He will pilot the No. 33 Chevrolet Camaro as an unchartered entry for the normal two-car operation.
Austin Hill is currently in his first full-time season in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, competing in the No. 21 Chevrolet Camaro for Richard Childress Racing. So far this year, the rookie driver has picked up two wins among 8 top-5's, inside a total of 13 top-10's.

Bennett Transportation will be the primary partner for the No. 33 Chevrolet this weekend. Bennett rode to victory lane with Hill twice this year in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, the first coming in their debut at Daytona International Speedway in February.
The 2022 "Firekeeper's Casino and Resorts" 400 will take place on Sunday, August 7th. Live television coverage will begin at 3:00 PM EST, airing on USA.
