Petty GMS Racing reveals new Bommarito Automotive Group paint scheme for No. 43 car at Gateway

Petty GMS Motorsports
Wednesday morning (05/25/2022), Petty GMS Racing revealed a new Bommarito Automotive Group paint scheme for the No. 43 Camaro of Erik Jones. As it was previously announced, Bommarito Automotive Group will become the primary sponsor of the No. 43 Camaro for this season’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Worldwide Technology Raceway in St. Louis, Missouri, an area where the company thrives.

Bommarito Automotive Group is a collection of car dealerships home to the St. Louis, Missouri area. This automotive group originally began with owner and founder, Frank Bommarito who opened “Frank Bommarito Oldsmobile” in 1971. This franchise of the Oldsmobile name was awarded to Bommarito by General Motors for his diligent work for the company that began in 1952. Since then, Bommarito Automotive Group has flourished in the state of Missouri, and even boasts being “Missouri’s #1 Automotive Group”.

Bommarito Automotive Group has expanded their marketing to include sponsorship in NASCAR. The company is a consistent primary sponsor to the Jordan Anderson Racing No. 31 machine in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, and for the first time will enter the NASCAR Cup Series as a sponsor this June with Richard Petty’s iconic race team.

As you would expect, the iconic "Petty Blue" color will be added to the black-and-red based No. 43 Bommarito Automotive Group Chevrolet Camaro, making a very sharp paint scheme with the contrasting colors.

The 2022 "Enjoy Illinois" 350 at Worldwide Technology Raceway (Gateway) will take place on Sunday, June 5th. Live race coverage will begin at 3:30 PM EST, airing on FOX Sports 1.
