Larry McReynolds, analyst for NASCAR on FOX and former NASCAR Winston Cup Series crew chief, will once again sit atop the pit box for it seems like a one-off race for 2022. "America's Crew Chief" will return to Richard Childress Racing as the crew chief for NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Jeffery Earnhardt, who will pilot the No. 3 Chevrolet Camaro at Talladega Superspeedway next week.

McReynolds has sat atop the pit box for many NASCAR Legends over his career. NASCAR Hall of Famers Davey Allison, Dale Jarrett, Mark Martin, and even Dale Earnhardt. One of his most memorable victories as a Crew Chief was when he guided Dale Earnhardt on to win the 1998 "Daytona" 500. While never winning a championship as a crew chief, he had a total of 23 NASCAR Winston Cup Series victories, with 6 different drivers.

Jeffery Earnhardt, the grandson for the famed Dale Earnhardt, will pilot the Richard Childress Racing No. 3 NASCAR Xfinity Series ride for this first time in his career. With the help of McReynolds, Earnhardt will look to score his first-ever NASCAR National Series win. RCR has brought some fast Chevrolet Camaro's to the races each week, so this is a very good opportunity for Earnhardt to prove himself.

This weekend's NASCAR Xfinity Series race will take place Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday, April 23rd. Live television coverage will begin at 4:00 PM EST on FOX.
