Kohler Generators expands partnership with RFK Racing: Increases race sponsorship for Keselowski

RFK Racing
Kohler Generators announced Thursday evening (02/03/2022), that they will be expanding their NASCAR partnership with RFK Racing for the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season. Kohler will be the primary sponsor of the No. 6 Ford Mustang in a total of 14 races throughout the 2022 season, becoming the "anchor sponsor" of the No. 6 team.

Below are the 14 NASCAR Cup Series events in which Kohler will be the primary sponsor of the No. 6 team:
  1. Daytona International Speedway (Sunday, February 20th)
  2. Atlanta Motor Speedway (Sunday, March 20th)
  3. Dover Motor Speedway (Sunday, May 1st)
  4. All-Star Race (Sunday, May 22nd)
  5. Charlotte Motor Speedway (Sunday, May 29th)
  6. Sonoma Raceway (Sunday, June 12th)
  7. Road America (Sunday, July 3rd)
  8. New Hampshire Motor Speedway (Sunday, July 17th)
  9. Pocono Raceway (Sunday, July 24th)
  10. Darlington Raceway (Sunday, September 4th)
  11. Bristol Night Race (Saturday, September 17th)
  12. Talladega Superspeedway (Sunday, October 2nd)
  13. Martinsville Raceway (Sunday, October 30th)
  14. Phoenix Raceway (Sunday, November 6th)

Kohler Generators joined Roush-Fenway Racing as a sponsor for No. 6 of Ryan Newman during the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season, as a primary sponsor for 8 races. Newman has since been replaced by Brad Keselowski. Keselowski joined the organization not only as a driver but as an owner, creating RFK Racing from RFR. The Wisconsin-based company was expected to return to the freshly re-branded team, when RFK Racing arrived with the No. 6 test car at Charlotte Motor Speedway on December 15th, 2021, adorned with the Kohler Generator colors.

The new Kohler paint scheme (See image above) looks cool and collected: all the different associate sponsor logos neatly placed either in front of the rear wheel well or on the "b-post". The Kohler logo filling up most of the freshly created space from the new number placement, making for a clean appearing race car.

This scheme will make its debut in the 2022 "Daytona" 500 on Sunday, February 20th. Live TV coverage for the "Great American Race" will begin at 2:00 PM EST on FOX.
