Since 2017, SiriusXM has sponsored multiple Toyota drivers in the NASCAR Cup Series, beginning with Erik Jones when he piloted the No. 77 Camry for Furniture Row Racing. When Erik Jones made the move to Joe Gibbs Racing, which was another Toyota organization, SiriusXM would bring their sponsorship with him in 2018. They would also sponsor drivers like Matt Kenseth (No. 20 Camry, 2017), Martin Truex, Jr. (No. 19 Camry, 2019 and 2020), and most recently, Christopher Bell (No. 20 Camry, 2021).
One interesting stat is, that SiriusXM has only made it into victory lane twice as a primary sponsor, with one driver: Martin Truex, Jr. Christopher Bell came close with a runner-up finish in 2021, so he could be on the right rack to bring the No. 20 SiriusXM machine back into victory lane in the upcoming NASCAR season.
Christopher Bell will compete in the SiriusXM colors (See Image below) in a total of 5 NASCAR Cup Series events, all listed below:
- Clash at L.A. Coliseum (Sunday, February 6th)
- Martinsville Raceway (Sunday, April 9th)
- Darlington Raceway (Sunday, May 8th)
- Michigan International Speedway (Sunday, August 7th)
- Talladega Superspeedway (Sunday, October 2nd)
