Once again, Michael McDowell will top another practice session at Daytona International Speedway as the fastest driver. The 2021 "Daytona" 500 champion has a fast lap of 46.710 (192.678 MPH), but the No. 34 car had a faster lap in Practice Session 1.
Front Row Motorsports had a fast car with not only Michael McDowell, but rookie Todd Gilliland sat as second-fastest to his teammate. Ford teams still showing their strength by sweeping the top-6 fastest cars, and with eight Ford Mustangs sitting in the top-10of Practice Session 3.
Aric Almirola and his No. 10 Ford Mustang ran the most laps during the session, rounding out at a total of 33-laps.
