2022 "Daytona" 500: Practice 1 Results

    The first Practice Session for the 2022 "Daytona" 500 has concluded, with the reigning "Daytona" 500 champion, Michael McDowell on top of the leaderboard. McDowell and his No. 34 Ford Mustang had the fastest lap of the session, clocking in with a 46.696 second lap (192.736 MPH).

The Ford Manufacturer camp had a strong showing, sweeping the top-5 with drivers Michael McDowell, David Ragan, Todd Gilliland, Brad Keselowski, and Chris Buescher. Toyota drivers Martin Truex, Jr, Bubba Wallace, Denny Hamlin, Kurt Busch, and Kyle Busch help round out the top-10 fastest drivers in Practice Session 1 at Daytona International Speedway.

Bubba Wallace, Kyle Busch, and Christopher Bell ran the most laps during the session, all three running a total of 27 laps.
