It was announced Tuesday (12/7/21), that NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Kris Wright, will join Niece Motorsports on a full-time basis for the 2022 race season. Kris Wright is best known for his past driving opportunities for Young's Motorsports in the No. 02 Silverado.
Kris Wright will pilot the No. 44 Chevrolet Silverado for Niece Motorsports, joining teammates Carson Hocevar, Dean Thompson, and Lawless Alan, who all will be competing full-time for the organization next season.
Wright has started a total of 17 Camping World Truck Series races, over the span of two seasons (2020 and 2021). In those starts, Wright has not scored any Top-10 finishes, although he did achieve his career best finish being a 12th at Daytona International Speedway in February of 2021. Additionally, Wright has made seven NASCAR Xfinity Series starts, all in 2021, scoring a best finish of 17th at Watkins Glen International.
Sponsorship for Wright has not been announced, and will be released on a later date.
