It was announced Monday afternoon that Hill Motorsports will be expanding to a two-truck team for the 2022 season, allowing team owner and NASCAR driver Timmy Hill to participate in the entirety of the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series schedule. James Gilbert/Getty Images
In addition to this expansion, Hill Motorsports will be partnering with TRD (Toyota Racing Development) to become a Toyota team, leaving the manufacturer Chevrolet in their past.
Timmy Hill will pilot the No. 56 Toyota Tundra next season. No sponsors for this entry have been unveiled. The truck number and sponsorship for the second Hill Motorsports entry will be released upon a later date.
We’ve got some BIG plans for 2022 and we’re excited to finally share them with everyone!#NASCAR | @timmyhillracer | @toyotaracing pic.twitter.com/yoCDzgh9Hs
