The automotive paint and coatings company will be the primary sponsor of the No. 24 machine for the 15 races listed below:

- Las Vegas - March 6th
- Phoenix - March 13th
- Circuit of the Americas - March 27th
- Martinsville - April 9th
- Darlington - May 8th
- Kansas - May 15th
- World Wide Technology Raceway - June 5th
- Sonoma - June 12th
- Road America - July 3rd
- Watkins Glen - August 21st
- Daytona - August 27th
- Talladega - October 2nd
- Las Vegas - October 16th
As for the "new" paint scheme, it doesn't look like Hendrick Motorsports or Axalta changed the car much. Compared to the 2021 Axalta paint scheme for Byron, the car looks identical besides the door number placement. I do not see the side Axalta logo any larger than it was last season, and it does not fill in the empty void left on the door.
The extra Chevrolet "bow-tie" on the tip of the hood, placed above the stock placement still seems slightly out of place..
Is the No. 24 Axalta car headed toward another great season with William Byron, and maybe even another victory? We'll just have to wait until 2022!
