Today it was announced that Myatt Snider will be competing in the No. 31 Chevrolet Camaro for Jordan Anderson Racing in the 2022 Xfinity Series Season. This will mark the organizations first-ever, full-time driver in the their Xfinity operation.
Myatt Snider has driven the No. 2 Chevrolet Camaro for Richard Childress Racing throughout the 2021 season, but was announced not to return to RCR in 2022. RCR will replace Snider in the No. 2 Camaro with the 2020 Truck Series champion, Sheldon Creed; and will field a second Xfinity entry for Austin Hill. With that being said, Snider was pushed off to the side, and will move to an RCR affiliate team in Jordan Anderson Racing.
The No. 31 Chevrolet Camaro has been a very competitive car throughout the 22 races they have ran in the 2021 Xfinity Series season, including 2 Top-5 and 6 Top-10 finishes. They missed the first 10 races of the season due to the Daytona qualifying season getting rained out, and the next qualifying season would take place 10 races later.
Team owner Jordan Anderson has driven it on multiple occasions, but also has placed many other drivers in the car:
- Josh Berry (5 Times)
- Tyler Reddick (3 Times)
- Sage Karam (3 Times)
- Kaz Grala (2 Times)
- Austin Dillon (1 Time)
- Ty Dillon (1 Time)
- Erik Jones (1 Time)
It will be interesting to see this teams success in 2022.
Welcome to the team @MyattSnider 👊🏼
