Reigning NASCAR Truck Series Champion, Ben Rhodes, is slated to return to his truck seat at ThorSport Racing in 2022, and will be looking to a make back-to-back championship run in the No. 99 Toyota Tundra.
Rhodes has been with ThorSport Racing since his rookie season of 2016, sitting behind the wheel of the Nos. 41, 27, and 99 over the past 6 seasons. He has 5 wins total in his name for the series, 41 top fives, and 76 top ten finishes. And most recently, he won the 2021 NASCAR Truck Series championship over Zane Smith.
Three-time Truck champ Matt Crafton, will also return to the organization next season, even though throughout the 2021 Season, he complained about a "lack of respect" between drivers in that series. That doesn't hinder his plans to become at 4-time Truck Series Champion as the veteran driver is nearing 500 series starts over his 20 year full-time run for Crafton. 19 of those 20 seasons, were for ThorSport, as Crafton drove for Cup Series driver Kevin Harvick in 2004.
With two drivers confirmed for ThorSport Racings' 2022 Truck Series operation, as drivers for the No. 98 and 13 have not been yet announced, but will most likely be unveiled in the near future.
