It was announced yesterday afternoon (10/19/21) that Justin Haley will pilot the Spire Motorsports No. 77 Camaro at Kansas Speedway with sponsorship from Circle B Diecast. Haley’s Camaro will not be outfitted with just any livery, instead it will feature a paint scheme reminiscent of a car from the popular racing film Stroker Ace.
Stroker Ace, an American film released in July of 1983 was based upon a novel called “Stand on It”. Both the film and the novel are centered around stock car racing, featuring a comical story of contractual obligations gone horribly wrong. Stars like Burt Reynolds, Loni Anderson, and Jim Nabors play the roles of main characters in the film, making Stroker Ace quite the embodiment of 1980’s entertainment
In the film, character Aubrey James drives a No. 10 Buick ‘sponsored’ by Four Star Whiskey. While Four Star Whiskey will not join Spire Motorsports this weekend… for obvious reasons, Circle B Diecast will format their logo in such a fashion to replicate the look of the No. 10 car. Although this paint scheme for Justin Haley is astounding, it wouldn’t be the first time that Spire Motorsports and Circle B Diecast partnered for a Stroker Ace tribute paint scheme. Earlier this season the pair teamed up to bring Spire Motorsports’ other driver, Corey LaJoie a different Stroker Ace tribute paint scheme, one that resembled the film’s No. 7 Chicken Pit Ford Thunderbird. While that paint scheme was released in June, it too will hit the track for the first time this weekend at Kansas. See the original and tribute paint scheme below:

Be sure to see these tribute paint schemes hit the track this Sunday, October 24th 2021 during the NASCAR Cup Series "Hollywood Casino" 400 at Kansas Speedway. Race coverage will begin at 3:00 PM ET and will be aired live on NBCSN.
