In a shocking last lap, a tire blew out on Kyle Larson's No. 5 Chevrolet Camaro, launching him into the wall; and leaving teammate Alex Bowman in the position to win.
Larson started the "Pocono Organics CBD" 325 on the front row with Hendrick Motorsports teammate William Byron. For the first time in quite a few races, the most dominate driver was not Kyle Larson. It turns out to be the other Kyle- Kyle Busch. The expected Top 5 drivers, like Denny Hamlin, weren't really where we expected them to be when they needed to be. A few other unexpected drivers had an appearance and led some laps today, drivers like Ross Chastain, who led 10 laps; and Michael McDowell, who led 5 laps.
There was no lack of cautions, as the first one came out on lap 9 for debris on the racing surface. Not long after that Brad Keselowski accidentally spun Cole Custer into the outside retaining wall, ending Custer's day on lap 15. Later on, in Stage 2, there would be two more cautions due to two different incidents. Ross Chastain, despite his good runs and getting to lead laps, unfortunately spun around and damaged his car.
Kyle Busch won Stage 1.
Kurt Busch won Stage 2.
