It was announced Monday morning that Ross Chastain will drive a throwback paint scheme at Darlington Raceway, to Hut Stricklin and the 1993 McDonalds No. 27 paint scheme.
In his career Hut Stricklin scored a total of eight top-5 finishes, and in 1993 with this McDonalds paint scheme, Stricklin’s best finish was 4th place at Daytona International Speedway.
You can catch this paint scheme hit the track on Sunday, May 9th during the “Goodyear” 400 at Darlington Raceway. Race coverage will begin at 3:00 PM ET, and will be aired live on FOX Sports 1.
