Justin Haley to miss Dover weekend races: Berry to Cup, and Zane Smith to Xfinity

    Justin Haley will unfortunately miss both the NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series' events at Dover International Speedway due to Covid-19 protocols. Haley races full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for Kaulig Racing, and part-time in the Cup Series for Spire Motorsports.


Josh Berry, part-time driver of the No. 8 Chevrolet Camaro for JR Motorsports in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, will make his debut in the NASCAR Cup Series at Dover, taking over for Haley's ride in the No. 77 for Spire Motorsports.


Zane Smith, who drives the No. 21 Chevrolet Silverado for GMS Racing in the Truck Series, will drive Haley's No. 11 Chevrolet Camaro for Kaulig Racing at Dover. Smith drove the No. 8 Camaro part-time for JR Motorsports in 2019, and finished 9th at Dover.


The Cup Series "Drydene" 400 wil take place on Sunday, May 16th, at 2:00 PM EST. The Xfinity Series "Drydene" 200 will take place on Saturday, May 15th, at 1:00 PM EST. You can catch the live coverage of both races this weekend on FS1.
