Playoff Projections: Brad Keselowski & Post-Talladega

Brad Keselowski finally broke into the win column for the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season. Yet again, we have another different winner, and we’re only 10 races into the season.

Keselowski’s season hadn't been bad, but as of today (4/26/21) he has not been resigned by Team Penske, or signed by any team for that matter. This victory will undoubtedly help him secure a ride for 2022.

- Who has moved around in the Top 16?
As Denny Hamlin is still running away with the points lead, Keselowski and Harvick were the only drivers who moved upward within the Top 16. Everyone else, moved downward or stayed put.

- Who is new, or has returned to the Top 16?
Michael McDowell fell just short of a victory here at Talladega, and wound up with a 3rd place finish. This sent him up into 13th in the points standings.

- Who has left the Top 16?
Kurt Busch unfortunately has left the Top 16, after a tough day at Talladega. He has now been sent down to 18th on the standings.
