MBM Motorsports to possibly cut back Cup schedule: Excluded from iRacing Pro Invitational at Bristol

NASCAR

The entry list for the season-opening race of the eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series on a virtual Bristol Dirt was announced, and MBM Motorsports driver, Timmy Hill, was not on the one of 38 participants.
It is a huge loss for Hill and his MBM Motorsports team, as they were banking on both exposure and TV time from these events to help sell sponsorships for their real racecar in the NASCAR Cup Series. This is fairly significant, considering that last Spring, Hill actually won one of the Pro Invitational races.

UPDATE:
It has been announced that Timmy Hill will take over for the Team Penske in the No. 2 entry that Austin Cindric was previously set to race. The Penske Discount Tire paint scheme will remain.

Hill won't give up on his hopes of becoming a NASCAR star, though MBM Motorsports has announced that they may cut down their Cup Series schedule after this experience. He will remain a competitor in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for MBM Motorsports, and own a truck in the NASCAR Truck Series, which he shares driving duties with his brother, Tyler. This week at Bristol, he has dirt racer Mike Marlar in the Hill Motorsports truck on a one-race deal.
