This morning (3/23/21) NASCAR Xfinity Series team, JR Motorsports, released the throwback paint scheme for the No. 8 of Josh Berry.
This throwback paint scheme features primary sponsor Tire Pros, and resembles a paint scheme that team owner, and third generation NASCAR driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr., drove during his days in the sport. The paint scheme referenced was raced by Earnhardt Jr. in the 2001 Pepsi 400, the first time that the Cup Series returned to Daytona International Speedway since his father’s untimely passing during the 2001 Daytona 500. You can catch the throwback paint scheme on track on Saturday, May 8th, at Darlington Raceway, during the Steakhouse Elite 200. The race will be aired on FOX Sports 1, and will begin at 1:00 PM EST.
