Columbia, a founding partner of 23XI Racing will adorn Wallace’s No. 23 for the second time at the high banks of Daytona, as the team aims for a spot in the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs.
Throughout their 10 races of sponsorship in the NASCAR Cup Series, and eight races with Wallace, Columbia has never sponsored a winning race car. The duo came close in 2021, finishing second in the same "Coke Zero Sugar" 400, where Columbia and Luke Combs sponsor this weekend.
The Luke Combs brand, which will make its debut in NASCAR sponsorship, does so continuing it's partnership with Columbia Sportswear.
Combs who is a country musician has won numerous awards, such as Country Music Association Entertainer of the year (2021, 22), and Country Music Association Male Vocalist of the Year (2019, 20) has done so with the Columbia clothing brand by his side. First partnering with the company in 2018, Combs' iconic look has since included a black Columbia PFG shirt, and at times a Columbia hat.
With 16 No. 1 hits in his country music career, Combs will ride the coat tail of his recent hit "Fast Car" into Daytona, further promoting his brand with the help of 23XI Racing and Bubba Wallace.
Currently boasting eight top-five finishes, and one win on super-speedway race tracks, tracks like Daytona International Speedway are places that Wallace statistically excels.
With such past performances behind Wallace's name, the team will attempt to remain in contention for the Cup Series playoffs as the driver sits 32 points above the cut-line coming into the final race of the regular season.
