The airborne division of the United States military will enter their 15th year of partnership with the race team partly owned by Richard Petty. In three races, at the Talladega Superspeedway “Geico” 500 [April 23], Charlotte Motor Speedway “Coca-Cola” 600 [May 28], and at the Bristol Motor Speedway “Bass Pro Shops Night Race” [Sep. 16] the U.S. Air Force paint scheme will adorn the No. 43.
Sporting a new paint scheme this season, the U.S. Air Force No. 43 will take a leap away from the dark grey and green airmen designed paint scheme that was adopted in 2022. This new paint scheme is quite the opposite with the bright blue, red and most of all white colors on the Camaro ZL1.
As Richard Petty’s race team undergoes a second season of rebranding, long time partners like the U.S Air Force continue their mutuality with the team. The sponsorship that began for Richard Petty Motorsports in 2008 is alive and well with Legacy Motor Club in 2023.
