Sporting the logo art of the award winning hard rock band Guns N’ Roses, Erik Jones will take to the high banks of Daytona International Speedway beginning on Wednesday night in qualifying for “The Great American Race”. Regardless of qualifying results, or finishing position in Thursday’s “Bluegreen Vacations” Duels, the iconic No. 43 will be guaranteed a starting position in the race as one of NASCAR 36 chartered teams.
The livery featuring a black colored base, and the Guns N’ Roses 1987 logo fills what was open sponsorship for the No. 43 team.
After anchoring sponsorship was provided by FocusFactor in 2022, differing sponsorship in 2023 at the Los Angeles Clash and for the “Daytona” 500 brings a new look for the Erik Jones team. Any commitment by possible anchor sponsors for the No. 43 team is unknown by Stock Car Media at this time.
Jones who has won on Daytona International Speedway’s 2.5 mile oval configuration, will race on Sunday for the opportunity to take home his first Harley J. Earl trophy. It all begins at 2:30 pm ET, on Sunday Feb. 19, 2023.
