Bass Pro Shops return to sponsor Austin Dillon, No. 3 car in 2023

    Richard Childress Racing and Bass Pro Shops will keep their longtime partnership alive heading into the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season. The widely popular fishing and hunting, outdoors-store franchise will sponsor Austin Dillon's No. 3 Chevrolet Camaro for 13-races this year.

Bass Pro Shops made their NASCAR sponsorship debut in the 1998 "All-Star Race", the brand carried on the No. 3 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, driven by none other than Dale Earnhardt. Since then, they have sponsored many great drivers such as: Martin Truex, Jr, Jamie McMurray, Ryan Newman and Tony Stewart.

The 2020 "O'Reilly Auto Parts" 500 at Texas Motor Speedway was the most recent time that Bass Pro Shops has been in victory lane with Richard Childress Racing. However, that could possibly change this year as Austin Dillon heads into his 10th full-time NASCAR Cup Series season, looking to best his top points finish of 11th (3-times; 2017, 2020, 2022) and possibly pick up his first multi-win season on the circuit.
