Landon Cassill not returning to Kaulig Racing full-time in 2023

Kaulig Racing on Twitter
Landon Cassill will not return to Kaulig Racing full-time for the upcoming NASCAR Xfinity Series season, the driver revealed on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023, addressing the community with a post on Twitter.

Cassill who competed with the team in 2022 brought sponsorship from major cryptocurrency companies such as Voyager, and their affiliates. Racing behind the wheel Matt Kaulig’s No. 10 machine, Landon Cassill achieved five top-five, and 12 top-10 finishes.

Narrowly missing the Xfinity Series playoffs, and failing to achieve a win in 2023, fans of the longtime competitor hoped that a second season would reveal Cassill’s true colors.

Citing sponsorship misfortune, Cassill says he will spend the 2023 season training and preparing for his next winning opportunities.

Driving in NASCAR’s top national series since 2007, Cassill has often found himself piloting lesser equipment. Though, throughout his 16 year tenure, the driver has shown talent wherever he races.

With sponsorship being the utmost concern for Cassill, his extensive experience will likely be a big selling point in any future opportunities.
