NAPA Auto Parts/Hendrick Motorsports |
The new Napa Auto Parts paint scheme that the group has unveiled features a more simplified look, in some ways compared to the paint scheme that hit the track in 2022.
Some of the significant changes that come with this paint scheme is the removal of the white stripe along the bottom rear portion of the car, the use of only one yellow arrow on the door panel area, and a yellow section added to the front and rear bumper of the car. Most noticeably, a white portion has been added to the roof of the No. 9 race machine.
Overall this edition of Hendrick Motorsport’s Napa Auto Parts paint scheme sees the removal of white areas on the car, and those areas being filled in the with the iconic Napa blue.
The 2023 race season will mark Napa Auto Part’s ninth season with Hendrick Motorsports, on top of an even longer relationship with legacy driver, Chase Elliott.
Although the company’s paint scheme has changed time and time again through their tenure with Hendrick Motorsports, NAPA’s relationship remains strong as the aim to sponsor a majority of the 2023 season with Chase Elliott.
As Napa agreed upon in February 2022, they will remain the primary sponsor for Elliott through 2027. The automotive retailer also agreed upon a large schedule with the No. 9 team in July 2022, which has the company as the primary sponsor for 26 races in 2023.
