Josh Berry returns to JR Motorsports for 2023

     JR Motorsports revealed on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 that Josh Berry will return to the organization in 2023, driving the No. 8 Chevrolet full-time. 

The 31 year old from Hendersonville, Tennessee has long worked with JR Motorsports. The two were first associated in 2010, tapping Berry to drive for their late model entry, after Co-Owner Dale Earnhardt Jr. had met Berry on iRacing.

Now, more than a decade later Josh Berry has worked his way to the top, driving one-off starts in the NASCAR Cup Series, and competing full-time with JR Motorsports in the Xfinity Series. In his part-time attempt in 2021, Berry won twice in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, across only 22 starts that season.

This solidified Berry's place at such racing heights.

In 2022, the driver has achieved three victories, and will now advance to the championship race to compete for the title. 

With stellar timing, the news that Berry would return in 2023 was released only three days after his dominant win at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. 

With three races left in the 2022 season, Berry will continue to fight hard in contention for the championship.
