Kyle Larson extends contract with Hendrick Motorsports through 2026

    2021 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Kyle Larson will remain with Hendrick Motorsports, as they have extended his current contract status to run through the 2026 season. Prior this announcement, Larson's contract only ran through the 2023 season.

HendrickCars.com will keep the 35-race majority sponsorship of the No. 5 Chevrolet Camaro, likely keeping the now iconic blue, red and white paint scheme in the coming years.

The past two-years have clearly been good to Larson and Hendrick Motorsports in the NASCAR Cup Series. The duo scoring the championship in their first year together, while picking up 10 career victories during the 2021 season. While 2022 has been a bit slower, with only 2 wins by the No. 5 team, they still are a threat for the championship title if they can manage to punch their ticket to Phoenix Raceway.
