Justin Alexander not to return as Crew Chief for Richard Childress Racing No. 3 team in 2023

    It has been announced recently that Justin Alexander, the longtime NASCAR Cup Series Crew Chief for Austin Dillon and the No. 3 Richard Childress Racing team, will be stepping down from the pit box for the 2023 season.

All four of Austin Dillon's NASCAR Cup Series victories to date has come with Alexander as his crew chief. In nine years on top of the pit box for drivers like Austin and Ty Dillon, Paul Menard, Daniel Hemric, Tyler Reddick and even Kaz Grala; Justin Alexander has 4 total wins, 16 top-5 finishes and 46 top-10's to his credit.


No replacement has been known to have been selected by the Richard Childress Racing camp and will likely be announced after the seasons' end.
