Josh Berry has found victory lane for a second time this season, this time winning the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series "Alsco Uniforms" 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday, May 28th. Berry took JR Motorsports to victory lane at Charlotte Motor Speedway for the organizations first time ever.

Young JR Motorsports driver Sam Mayer picked up the pole position to start the race, adding to the team's recent stretch of dominance. Justin Allgaier won Stage 1, while Berry took the extra Stage 2 points for himself. Their teammate Noah Gragson had speed early in the race, but fell victim to an engine misfire, leaving him to finish the race on about 7-cylinders. However, he still managed a lead-lap finish of 4th.

Berry held off Ty Gibbs for the win, as if Gibbs had the chance, Berry would have had quite the experience trying to keep the No. 54 behind, and without the bumper being used against him.

As Charlotte Motor Speedway is the "home-track" for most of the organizations, including NASCAR-itself, the races are typically a little more hectic, as drivers and teams feel a "home-field advantage" sort of thing. A decent total of 8 cautions were somewhat within the normal race range for the NASCAR Xfinity Series on a week-to-week basis, so not to crazy.

Here are the complete race results from Charlotte Motor Speedway:
