The No. 43 fanbase has obviously been very loyal over the past many decades since Richard "The King" Petty retired in 1992; supporting drivers like: John Andretti, Bobby Hamilton, more recently Aric Almirola, Bubba Wallace, and now current driver Erik Jones.

Erik Jones and the No. 43 Chevrolet Camaro, due to the support from the fans, will make the 2022 "All-Star Race" lineup, earning the final starting position of 24th based on the Fan-vote results from NASCAR.

According to the votes, he beat out drivers like Corey Lajoie and Austin Dillon, as Daneil Suarez, Chris Buescher, and Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. advanced by winning one of the three "All-Star Open Race" segments. Tyler Reddick crashed out, eliminating his chance making the event all together.

The 2022 "All-Star Race" will take place at Texas Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 22nd. Live race coverage will begin at 8:00 PM EST on FOX Sports 1.
