Chris Buescher wins the pole at Dover: Starting lineup for the 2022 Cup Series "DuraMAX Drydene" 400

    Chris Buescher has scored his first pole of the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season and picking up the first of his career. He will start his No. 17 Ford Mustang on the front row at Dover Motor Speedway this weekend.

Buescher's lap time of 22.479 seconds (160.149 MPH) beat Denny Hamlin's time by a hare, as the driver of the No. 11 Toyota clocked a circuit 22.536 seconds (159.744 MPH). Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott, and Ryan Blaney will round out the top-5 starting positions.
