Veteran race car driver AJ Allmendinger took home another large paycheck after the 2022 "Ag-Pro" 300 at Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday, April 23rd. The Kaulig Racing driver finished the race in 3rd, but he also won the Xfinity "Dash 4 Cash" prize this weekend. This was his second "Dash 4 Cash" prize of the 2022 season, as he won it two weeks ago at Martinsville Raceway.

Drivers Brandon Jones, Landon Cassill, AJ Allmendinger, and Austin Hill were eligible for the Xfinity "Dash 4 Cash" prize at the end of today's race. They were eligible based on the finish at Martinsville Raceway and consisting of points-eligible driver for the NASCAR Xfinity Series. So, only drivers racing for championship points in the series was eligible for the chance to compete for this prize.

Austin Hill showed his strength all day long, running top-5 for almost the entire race. That is, until Sam Mayer got way lose and completely lost control of his car, which turned into the No. 21 of Hill, therefore taking both cars out of contention. Brandon Jones was involved in multiple incidents, so was never in contention for the win or extra prize money. So, AJ Allmendinger picked up the $100,000 prize for his No. 16 Kaulig Racing team.

At the finish of the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Talladega Superspeedway, race winner Noah Gragson, Landon Cassill, AJ Allmendinger, and Ryan Sieg will compete for the next and final "Dash 4 Cash" prize at Dover Motor Speedway next weekend.
