Michael McDowell, the 2021 "Daytona" 500 Champion, and contender in the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series playoffs will roll into the upcoming 2022 season with a sleek looking paint scheme from his long-time supporter "Love's Travel Stops". Love's is an family owned company based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, owning more than 500 truck stops in the United States. Located in 41 of the 50 American States, Love's Travel Stops feature fueling stations, as well as convenience stores with snacks, hand made meals, showers and even laundromats within. The company strives for excellence, not only at their locations of business, but also on the track.

Sponsoring Micahel McDowell's No. 34 Mustang, Love's Travel Stops saw a breakout season with the team in 2021. For the first time in his (now extensive) career, Michael McDowell scored a victory, and rounded out the season well with five top-10 finishes, and two top-five finishes.
This new paint scheme takes advantage of NASCAR's recent rule change, mandating the door numbers are slid forward, beneath the A-Pillar. With that change being made, the new Love's Travel Stop paint scheme now has an opportunity to display the Love's logo much larger, but also to increase the red and orange striping.
You can catch this paint scheme hit the track this weekend during the "Busch Light Clash" at the Los Angeles Coliseum, in Los Angeles, California, as Michael McDowell will battle to compete in the main event. Qualifying heat races will begin on Sunday, February 6th, 2022, at 3:00 PM EST, the main event will occur later that day at 6:00 PM EST. Live coverage will take place on FOX.
