Wurth to continue partnership with Team Penske, sponsoring Ryan Blaney through 2022

    It was announced Monday morning (1/24/22) that Team Penske and Wurth has expanded their sponsorship contract through 2022, and they will be a primary sponsor for Ryan Blaney. Wurth has been a Penske multi-race primary sponsor for 10 years, beginning in 2012 with Brad Keselowski and the No. 2 team. Together the company has been in victory lane twice with Keselowski in the NASCAR Cup Series, and also once with Sam Hornish, Jr. in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

Ryan Blaney, driver of the No. 12 in the Cup Series, said, "I'm really excited to start this new chapter with Wurth in their relationship with Team Penske. Obviously, they've been to victory lane a few times, and I'm hoping to take them back there at Auto Club Speedway in the second race of the season. I'm really excited to have the opportunity to represent them on and off the track with the No. 12 Wurth Mustang. The NASCAR Cup Series 2022 season will officially kickoff with the Daytona 500, which will be aired live on FOX at 2:30 P.M., E.T., and will also be radio broadcasted on MRN.
