Mobil 1 will trade the old black base color for a brighter white, bringing back the Pegasus trademark and vibes of early Mobil 1 paint schemes from the 1990's. The scheme also sort of brings back the white and black colors of Kevin Harvick's first NASCAR Cup Series ride in 2001; the No. 29 GM Goodwrench Monte Carlo, replacing the famous black No. 3 that was driven by the late Dale Earnhardt, who was killed in final lap for the 2001 Daytona 500. Overall, the new scheme looks sharp, filling in as much space on the car possible, leaving no empty spots.
The 2022 Daytona 500 is right around the corner, taking place on February 20th. Live coverage will start at 2:30 PM EST on FOX.
