Chase Purdy to drive No. 61 Truck for Hattori Racing in 2022: Team expected to have 2 entries

     Chase Purdy will join Hattori Racing Enterprises as a full-time driver of the brand new No. 61 Toyota Tundra in 2022. A longtime sponsor of Purdy, BAMA Buggies, will sponsor the No. 61 entry throughout the season. 

Chase Purdy drove the No. 23 full-time for GMS Racing in 2021, and has 30 career starts in the NASCAR Truck Series. In those 30 starts, he only has 3 Top-10 finishes.

Hattori Racing Enterprises has not announced Purdy's crew chief for 2022, as more details will be released upon a later date. The team is also expected to run a second entry, presumably the No. 16 Tundra.
