After an amazing 2021 Rookie Season in the Truck Series, Chandler Smith will return to the No. 18 Toyota Tundra for Kyle Busch Motorsports in 2022.

Prior to the start of the 2021 Truck Series Season, Chandler Smith had made 4 Truck starts for KBM in 2019 and 12 starts in 2020. Between the 2 seasons, Smith had racked up 8 Top-5's and 9 Top-10 finishes, which would earn him a full-time ride for the organization in 2021.

Chandler Smith made it in to the 2021 NASCAR Truck Series Playoff field of 12 drivers without a win, but would pull off his 1st Career victory at Bristol Motor Speedway, advancing himself to the Round of 8. Unfortunately, Smith would come to Martinsville Raceway in a must-win situation. He was a threat for the win, but the caution-filled race would lean the race victory out of Smith's favor, and he would not advance to the Championship 4.

Going on to the last race of the season, Smith would win the pole at Phoenix. Despite not being a part of the Championship 4, Smith went on to victory lane to claim a 2nd win of 2021, and his career.

It will be interesting to see if Chandler Smith has the same amount of success next year, or even more, because his future in NASCAR is looking quite bright.
